LA SUCULENTA
Read moreThis place is the product of a dream that Erika Garaicoa had 25 years ago. After 14 years as a flight attendant, an experience that allowed her to be inspired by cuisines from all over the world, she settled in the Zona Rosa and opened this vegetarian restaurant that can be described as gastronomic. The place is charming, a small dead end where it is good to rest, at the exit of the Muegano theatre, and the food is delicious and very healthy. The menu is different every day and very inspired. Special mention for the aubergine escabeche, a delight.
GOVINDA GOPAL
Read moreWhether you are a vegetarian or not, you will love this restaurant which serves excellent Indian food at unbeatable prices. It is located in the patio of a beautiful colonial house that serves as the premises of the Krishna community of Quito. A small store of Indian products opens on the same patio, one would think in India! Fresh and organic products on the menu, served by a follower of the community who does not proselytize. We feel at ease here, the decor is very pleasant and the calm absolute, sometimes punctuated by the songs coming from the floor. A good choice.
MY VEG RESTAURANTE
Read moreSimply the best option if you're vegetarian or want to eat healthy vegetables in Baños. The food is super tasty and affordable. The Almuerzo comes with a delicious soup, fresh fruit juice, main course (huge portion) and fruit. The owner is very friendly and prepares all dishes to order - nothing is reheated here. Don't miss the traditional Burrito, which attracts locals and tourists alike thanks to its well-deserved reputation. The vegetable lasagne is also a must.
