Funiculars and cable cars

This cable car that connects the centre of Guayaquil to Duran, on the other side of the river, was inaugurated in 2020 and is intended for inter-city transport, making it possible to relieve, or at least this is the idea, the automobile traffic. From Labrador to Quitumbe, the line winds its way from north to south, under the city, and stops at the most important points of the capital. Shopping centers and the historic district are now less than a quarter of an hour away!
