SEMANA SANTA (SEMAINE SAINTE)

With a population of 90% Catholics, the Holy Week is celebrated throughout the country as one of the most important periods of the year. Many processions take place until Easter Sunday. It is also a time for families to take advantage of the ocean holiday: beaches are crowded in general, particularly on the Costa del Sol and La Libertad.
