The Unclaimed Baggage Center is a large store that collects the items found (and not claimed) from all U.S. airports. Ideal for renewing your wardrobe at a cost, to find a whole host of diverse objects, from the camcorder to the golf club, and to make a lot of good business.

Opened for more than thirty years, this flea market is one of the oldest in the city, although it has long had a different name (most New Yorkers still call it the GreenFlea Market). It is also one of the only ones to change most of its exhibitors every week. There is absolutely everything and, as is often the case in places like this, you only leave with things you don't need... That's the magic of this market, where you can find handmade jewellery as well as furniture, vintage crockery and candles.

Don't miss the incredible $1 sale held at Jet Rag every Sunday. It can be spotted from afar, and takes place in the parking lot in front of the store: as soon as it opens, rows of clothes are dumped on the ground, and everyone helps themselves. The special feature: everything is one dollar. A good-natured event, with music playing in the background. Meanwhile, the store remains open, offering all the classics of a thrift shop: a veritable Ali Baba's cave.
