An amazing little train takes you to an altitude of 1,780 metres. It's a wonderful ride through endless meadows with a breathtaking panorama. At the end of the ride, the train reaches the Hotel-Restaurant Schafberg, where you can have an excellent breakfast or a meal. The lucky ones will spend the night there. The only problem is that in case of bad weather, the train does not leave. So only go there if the weather is good!

What an experience! The Zugspitze is the border mountain between Germany and Austria at an altitude of almost 3,000 metres. After a 20-minute cable car ride up the mountain, you really feel like you're on top of the world. From here you have a fantastic view over four countries (weather permitting) and a breathtaking panorama above the clouds. A large platform with explanatory panels allows you to spot the surrounding peaks. You can even treat yourself by crossing the German border.

At 1,064 m, Mount Pfänder offers breathtaking views of over 240 Alpine peaks and Lake Constance. You can reach it comfortably and effortlessly by cable car, with the Pfänderbahn. This cabin takes you up 600 m in height in just 6 minutes! Fares are higher in winter than in summer. The more courageous can also make the ascent on foot - it's longer, but satisfying... Panoramic restaurant and hiking trails.
