Three diving companies work with the park authorities to ensure environmentally friendly experience. th century shipwrecks and artificial reefs attract divers, but also fishermen (with permits). Part of the park is forbidden both for fishing and for navigation.
QUILL - BOVEN NATIONAL PARK
Read moreIn 1998, Quill's peak became a national park - the first of the Netherlands Antilles. This small park of 5,4 km 2 has an interesting biodiversity thanks to its extinct volcano. Vegetation is typical of the Caribbean, like wildlife. Between the fatty plants, you can see the discreet theft of colorful hummingbirds. On the south slope of the volcano, the White Wall, is a limestone cliff also interesting to observe. About trails are available to discover the park.
