At 6 km from the city centre, Tashkent International Airport is the largest in the region. The airports of Uzbekistan Airways, a foreign exchange office and some shops are located at the airport. The terminal of internal flights is next to that reserved for international flights. It is difficult to negotiate the journey to the city centre for less than 10 € with taxis just at the exit. The journey usually costs less than € 4 by taxi, and € 0,5 by bus.

Upon arrival at the airport, you will have to complete, in two copies, a currency return form that you enter into the country. They will be distributed to you on the plane if you travel with Uzbekistan Airways or you will find it after the passport control post. You will keep one of the two copies, which you will be asked when you leave the country, together with a new statement of the amount of money remaining.
