NAVROUZ

The great festival of spring, celebrated in Central Asia and neighboring countries, but also in Azerbaijan, Iran, Pakistan and parts of India. It is a religious festival, dating back to Zoroastrianism, when everyone celebrated the spring equinox, through the awakening of nature. It gives rise to numerous celebrations and sporting and cultural events that can last a whole month. The celebration is also done at the family level or in the neighborhoods (mahallah) and constitutes a great moment in the country.
