The Fonte Nova Arena, built for the 2014 World Cup, replaced its predecessor, the Octavio Mangabeira Stadium, which was razed in the summer of 2010. With a capacity of just over 47,000 people, it is a modern structure that in addition to hosting football matches - including the Ba-Vi classico (named after the two Bahian Serie A clubs Esporte Clube Bahia and Esporte Clube Vitória - can be converted into a venue for shows and concerts.

ARENA CORINTHIANS – ITAQUERÃO

Football

You can't come to Sao Paulo without paying tribute to "Corinthian democracy". Led by the immense Socrates, the Corinthians club openly opposed the military regime by entering the stadium with a banner that read "democracy now". This new stadium of the Corinthians football team was inaugurated in 2014 and has since hosted many league matches. This imposing monument can accommodate up to 68,000 people.
