The restaurants usually open from noon to 2:00-3:00 pm and resume service from 6:00-7:00 pm to 10:00-11:00 pm.

Bars are open from 10am to 11pm from Monday to Friday, from 10am to midnight on Saturday and from 10am to 10pm on Sunday. In the tourist centers, bars can stay open most of the night, especially during organized or improvised parties.

Stores open from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on weekdays, from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturdays. In the main urban centers, most stores do not close during lunch time. Supermarkets are open every day until 7pm, except on Sundays when they only open in the morning. Government offices, banks and businesses are closed on public holidays and public transport, especially air transport, reduces the number of flights.

Nightclubs are open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and usually close at 2am. The bars of the discotheques serve drinks until closing time.
