Quite a big bar, with a bit of a lounge atmosphere. It fills up slowly from 6pm, even during the week. The atmosphere is very friendly, the young people of Legazpi meet there to have a drink with friends while listening to a live concert. Choice of the usual beers, cocktails, and some dishes to share. The staff is very friendly. The plus: the terrace in height. Special mention for the roasted peanuts given to nibble: they remind the street-food vendors of Manila and are delicious.

Located on the main road, Black Scoop Café is a nice and modern address where you can meet the youth of Legazpi at the end of the school day, as teenagers come here to have a bubble tea or a milkshake. They either relax or do their homework, in a relaxed atmosphere. There is a large choice of coffees (which is very good, by the way) and more original and gourmet drinks (coffee shakes, milkshakes, etc.). In case of hunger, there are various cakes, and the cookies are very good.

On BM beach, Chez Rose is a small typical beach bar, a kind of bamboo and coconut fiber hut and a larger hard hut with a terrace. It's a great place to hang out with friends over a milkshake, a cold beer or even a cocktail. There are often DJ sets or even live music and of course chairs to relax with your feet in the sand. On the other hand, it is said that the best parties in Puerto Princesa take place on the^second floor of Chez Rose, which turns into a club on weekends.

Established a few years ago, Sava Beach Bar has quickly established itself as one of El Nido's must-see night spots. With its lounge atmosphere, terrace overlooking the sea and rooftop, it is the ideal place for a drink with friends during happy hour (4-6pm) or at the end of the night. They regularly organize theme parties (body painting, fire throwers...) and dj's sets. Also, the cocktails are probably among the best in El Nido and there are a few options for sustenance. A great place for a wild night out!

Founded in 2014, Baguio's first craft brewery offers a wide selection of draft beers for every taste. IPAs, fruity, lagers and browns, it's a welcome alternative to San Miguel's monopoly. From the outside, the building located along the highway does not look like much. Inside, the bar has a glass roof terrace decorated with climbing plants, with a breathtaking view of Baguio and its surroundings. Perfect to start the evening without fuss. Various dishes with beer are also served. A nice discovery.

Here's a lovely beach restaurant with a chic-casual atmosphere and bohemian decor. At breakfast, you'll find omelettes, fruit bowls and croissants, while at lunch and dinner, you'll enjoy Italian-inspired cuisine, with focaccia, risotto, pasta and pizzas. Everything is excellent, and in the evening the restaurant transforms into an atmospheric bar serving some of the best cocktails on the island... It's also a popular spot for sunsets, which coincides perfectly withhappy hour !

One of the hottest bars on Alona Beach. This friendly beach bar is housed in a traditional straw hut. You can sit on the sofas right on the beach in the early hours of the morning to enjoy a good breakfast in a relaxed atmosphere, at midday to eat a burger and at sunset to sip your cocktail (happy hours available). Unsurprisingly, the place attracts a big crowd in the evening! And with good reason: the atmosphere is very festive and friendly, and the Filipino tapas are delicious.

Located on White Beach, straddling Station 1 and Station 2, the Exit Bar is a haven for backpackers who appreciate the bar's relaxed yet lively atmosphere and its wide range of drinks at unbeatable prices. To accompany these beers and cocktails, a number of Filipino dishes are available. It's often a big hit, with people crowding together. The atmosphere is guaranteed almost daily, and it's an ideal place to meet other travellers and locals, especially in the evenings, when there are concerts and DJ sets.

Let's admit it, it's not the most trendy or fun bar in the Philippines, but in Puerto Princesa it's a famous address frequented by the local youth and many travelers. The place is appreciated for its half-American and half-Philippine food (fried chicken wings, lechon, pizzas...) but especially because every night, a band comes to play live. And the weekend, more wild parties are organized as the inevitable foam parties. Notice to the amateurs... Tropical atmosphere.

Located on the main road, near Corong-Corong. Maybe not the biggest bar in El Nido, but maybe one of the nicest. Here, it's a reggae atmosphere in the tropics around the friendly team of Pukka, between beach, beers, dreadlocks and flip-flops. We love the place, a little bit crazy (on several levels), and the atmosphere. We recommend it for a festive and friendly evening. The place also serves as a restaurant (relatively correct international cuisine). Theme evenings are regularly organized.

A must for coffee lovers but not only! They also serve gourmet and original dishes (the grilled cheese sandwich is recommended) and cookies. As for the coffee, they are all delicious. So, a good coffee and a snack, the whole tasted on a charming terrace near the beach... what more could you ask for? If the atmosphere wasn't enticing enough, you should know that there are regular concerts. Expect to wait in line, this little coffee shop is a bit of a victim of its own success.

We told you, Filipinos are absolute fans of karaoke, in the city in places like this one, even on the most isolated beaches where you can find karaoke boxes that seem to come out of another era. This is your chance to try your hand at this very special art. Packages with several hours of music and songs, drinks and snacks are offered. It's the promise of a typical Filipino evening (or night!).

Tinted windows, staff shaking their heads... you've not mistaken the door: this is the rock bar on this side of town. Every night, a band - more or less professional - to make you live evenings filled with guitar riffs, Nirvana covers and music that makes your eardrums vibrate. The program varies from night to night, so does our opinion. In any case, it's a good place to start the evening with friends, if you like this kind of atmosphere, animated and not fancy for a penny.

This brand new café is located on the corner of Fig Sunset View Resort. The decoration is modern, bohemian inspired, with rattan furniture and soft benches covered with cushions. The place smells like freshly ground coffee (it is very good), and also has a very good wifi connection, which may help some people. On the menu, chocolate or caramel coffee shakes, lychee or peach iced teas, matcha, strawberry or blueberry smoothies, plus a selection of cookies and tempting cakes. A gourmet address.

Papakape, which means "to offer coffee" in Tagalog, is an old garage that has been renovated into a glass shack that houses a coffee bar. With a very small garden with lush vegetation, hidden in the heart of Makati. The few tables are very pleasant, and it is very quiet. On the menu, mainly coffees but also some juices and iced teas. The coffees are few but some recipes are quite original and greedy as the coffee infused with ginger and declined in hot or cold versions.

Even before you enter, you're drawn in by the delirious vastness and glitz of the place. The casino in the gigantic City of Dreams complex (which includes several hotels, shopping malls, restaurants, etc.) opened in 2015 and is accessible to all players (of age of course). No less than 365 tables await you, with all the usual games like blackjack, baccarat, roulette or poker, as well as more than 1,600 slot machines. It's all part of a great Las Vegas-style night out in the capital of the Philippines.

Nestled on the rooftop of TRYP, next to the grand Mall of Asia, Encaramada has probably one of the best 360-degree views of Manila Bay. At sunset time, the show is a real enchantment. In terms of atmosphere, no loud music or hubbub, the place is ideal for a quiet drink after a tiring day of pacing the streets of bustling Manila. On the menu, cocktails, beers, wines and refreshing fruit juices, plus some tapas. One comes there above all for the sight.

Hidden at the end of the charming San Luis alley, itself very discreet from the main street in front of the San Agustin church, this café is definitely a secret. Nestled in the heart of an alcove, it seems to have come straight out of the Spanish era, with its pretty old-fashioned decoration and wooden furniture. We recommend it to quench your thirst during the day and not to eat. Enjoying a refreshing drink on its romantic and quiet patio is to forget, for a moment, that you are in one of the most dense and noisy cities in the world.

To make matters worse, the cocktails and beers on offer are both rich and affordable, as is the menu of coffee specialities. You can also enjoy a burger or Filipino specialties on the go. Nestled in the heart of Poblacion, this bar is known for being one of the best places to have a drink (and preferably a cocktail!) in the capital. In fact, they've had their own distillery since 2016 and make original and unique liquors and spirits made from local plants. There are happy hours from 5pm to 8pm, an extensive cocktail menu and some are very original. The preparation of the cocktails is a show in itself.

A new address for coffee fans! In the San Luis passage, this modern and trendy coffee bar displays a neat decoration with paintings hung on its wooden and white brick walls. It is the ideal place for a small stop in the peace. Some tempting pastries, cookies, all possible coffee variations and other drinks like a delicious hibiscus lemonade or various milkshakes. The prices are quite cheap. An unpretentious address but full of charm.

After sunset, the musicians of Spiked Coconut took place on the beach and left for a feverish concert. This outdoor snack bar offers a few grills, pica-pica, some beers and other alcohols. Small tables for two, feet in the sand, stuffed with soft light in the branches of a tree. The location has a particularly pleasant atmosphere.

Here's an address that's original, colorful and full of pep! Shake Me is a charming, colorful juice bar covered from wall to ceiling with hundreds of multicolored post-it notes. To fill up on vitality and vitamins, we're more partial to their delicious fruit juices or fresh milkshakes, and their homemade ice creams. For a little more indulgence, we'll go for a pastry and a milkshake in cookies or chocolate (or even Bubble Gum for the more daring). A fresh, gourmet break! For a change, we recommend.

With its modern wooden cabana style, this beachfront bar nestled in a lush natural setting is the perfect place to sip a drink while watching the sunset(happy hours between 5pm and 7pm to boot!). Here, the cool attitude reigns with live bands, fire shows and great cocktails. From breakfast to dinner, it is also possible to eat. Feel free to enjoy the hammocks here and there! Since 2022, the bar is also a hostel, modern and clean, with an atmosphere as cool and relaxed as its bar.

This is Manila's first (and only) Costa Rican bar. Unsurprisingly, the atmosphere is relaxed, the color palette yellow, green and red is dominant and Latin and reggae music, regularly featuring live concerts, is king. The musical program is updated weekly, and can be seen on their social networks. The terrace is very pleasant and, unsurprisingly, is quickly occupied at weekends by tourists and locals alike. People come for the cocktails, the music, the terrace and, of course, the atmosphere... pura vida.

In the heart of Poblacion, the former red light district that has become the place to be, The Social is a friendly and atypical open-air space. Structured around colorful converted containers, it consists of three world food stands, a pop up store and a bar on two floors where, once the night falls, locals and tourists mix to party. With its big mural, the decoration is clearly urban street and art is the key word. Relaxed atmosphere for a good-natured evening.

This cabana-style bar will delight karaoke fans as well as visitors looking for a lively and typical evening with a fruity cocktail. Sure, it's a bit kitschy, but it's a lot of fun and, above all, it's the perfect opportunity to spend an evening 100% local, singing at the top of your lungs to the number 1 Filipino pastime in their company. It's all about conviviality and a good atmosphere. A few dishes (calamari, pizzas, pork adobo...) are on the menu in case you get a little hungry, and drinks include beers, cocktails and softs.

Perched high on a hill, this café is ideal for a late afternoon gourmet break. It offers a wide selection of hot and cold drinks based on coffee, caramel and chocolate, but also fruit milkshakes and the famous halo-halo, a mixture of crushed ice and condensed milk with various flavors and toppings. It is also a restaurant where you can find the usual range of Filipino dishes. One comes here above all to enjoy the breathtaking view of the bay from its rounded terrace, sheltered under an imposing dome.

A pleasant address for breakfast or lunch. It is possible to eat outside, in the quiet of the pleasant terrace located at the back of the store. Prices are reasonable for breakfast and pasta dishes, but coffee drinks are a little more expensive than elsewhere. Its location, close to the airport on Rizal Avenue, and the efficient wifi make it a convenient place for a work and/or relaxation break. The staff is particularly nice and welcoming, and the atmosphere is pleasant.

Primarily renowned for its pastries (the best in town), Margie's offers a range of flavorful Filipino and Asian dishes for lunch and dinner. The interior is cosy and the terrace very pleasant. The house specialties are the pistachio-colored macapuno pandan cake that Filipinos love, made from a mixture of aromatic herbs and coconut, and foods for the gods, a kind of buttery cake filled with walnuts. It's a place where you'll want to stay until dessert.

On the bus back home, they will probably try to sell you a buko pie, or coconut pie. The tastiest is the one from Loumars, known for its crispy pastry and beautiful golden color. Available everywhere in Tagaytay. A very Filipino specialty that you must try! Loumars also serves great fruit pies and a wide selection of Filipino dishes. The place is very nice, all in rattan wood and bamboo, open on the nature. Friendly atmosphere.

The Mambo Beach Bar, on Lio beach, is the beach bar par excellence at any time of the day or night! At noon, for a shady lunch, based on sushis, paellas and burgers, at the end of the afternoon for an aperitif, feet in the sand (or in the pool!) sipping a cocktail or a beer while contemplating the sunset, and finally at night, during one of the organized evenings (often around the full moon for example) to let yourself be carried away by the music, electro or commercial, and to party with other travelers and Filipinos

If you come with a group, don't miss the opportunity to enjoy this typical buffet prepared with the participation of Chef Aklay (his local nickname), a Frenchman living in the area and a pastry chef by training. Andrew and Binggirl, an Igorot couple, welcome you to their comfortable cottage. On the menu: smoked sausages and beers made from local ingredients by the fire. This artisanal brewery hidden in the pines is also open to all in the late afternoon for a beer. A very convivial experience!

In this creperie, which has become a bit of an institution and is always crowded, the waiters who wear berets serve you crepes accompanied by cider. Perfect if you are already nostalgic or just want a change from the Filipino cuisine. On the sweet side, try the mango pancake (with mango ice cream on top!) and on the savory side, you can try the Dracula with garlic, cheese and tomatoes. Creative types can also create their own crepes. The French names on the menu alone are worth the detour.

A charming café with a whimsical and welcoming facade. It's a nice little place to have late breakfasts or even lunches (when it's open...the hours are not fixed). They propose very good omelets, longganisa, or chicken to be tasted with local rice and at a very reasonable price. And above all... Strawberry lovers, this place will be your new paradise: when it's in season, the strawberries grown on the spot are in all the dishes (yoghurt, pancakes, milkshakes...)!
