We love the architecture of the establishment, a bit like a Cycladic hotel, with its smooth white rounded walls, its beautiful volumes, the inlaid furniture. This magnificent pre-war white house was for many years the home of the illustrious Dr. Montejo family and witness to a turbulent history, particularly during the war when the mansion was used to house survivors. Very good value for money. Room with double bed or two single beds. The service is basic but courteous, there is no restaurant or breakfast. The room is very good, without great charm but clean, quiet and the bedding is comfortable. We recommend it for a night or two in the calm, in the tumult of the city.

This hotel, opened in 2021, is ideally located 300 meters from the Tubod Marine Sanctuary. And we feel like saying: finally a hotel of European standing at a not too exorbitant price. The swimming pool is huge, the two beaches and the view on the ocean are simply sublime, the rooms are big, the bungalows with view on the swimming pool and the sea have each their own small terrace. The restaurant offers a varied menu (pasta, fish, meat) and is very correct. The staff is available and efficient. A sure value for those who need comfort.

The White Knight, located in the very charming Plaza San Luis, offers 29 rooms decorated with the charm of the old. There are daily activities on offer, and scooters can of course be hired to escape the languor from time to time. The garden is superb, the bungalows are well-kept but a little old-fashioned, and the rates are agreeable. We like it, even if it lacks a bit of beach.

This hotel with Genesis Divers offers charming bamboo and nipa units. Common health care is very well maintained. It's more expensive for non-divers. The place is really pleasant and like small budgets that like to buller… even to others elsewhere. 

Just below Batad Pension, very rudimentary rooms in traditional huts (without electricity). One of them is a real museum of ifugao art (with skulls of animals including monkeys, rabbits, deer and wild boars): it was the house of Ramon's grandfather more than a century ago. The food is very good. Ramon is one of the village elders, so he is well respected and has a lot to teach you. A good place to have a 100% local experience. Price is right.

It is one of the first resorts to be established on the island, in 1988. Its eight nippa cottages overlook the beautiful beach of Larena. The rooms are not the most modern, they are relatively simple and the comfort is rudimentary but the whole is rather well kept, in edge of sea. The setting is peaceful and authentic, we swim, we relax with a book, we go to meet the inhabitants, we stroll on the beach and we discover the island... In short, we enjoy.

At 35 meters from the beach, it is the first and still one of the only resorts in Port Barton with a swimming pool. The thatched and nippa bungalows are very simple and not particularly modern but they all have a small terrace overlooking the pool. Although not at all luxurious, it is one of the most stylish hotels in Port Barton. The owners and staff are friendly and can be very helpful in organizing excursions in and around Port Barton. A peaceful and welcoming establishment.

Sixteen rooms in all, accommodating 2 to 5 people. The two big advantages of this hotel (in addition to the incredible sea view)? Ahras Place is located at the entrance of Coron Town, quietly below the main road. This 3-story hotel is quite cozy. In the morning, a breakfast is offered in the open restaurant. The rooms are basic and untidy. The bathroom is cramped and there is no hot water to boot. But as it is difficult to find cheap accommodation in Coron, this one is a decent choice and the atmosphere is nice, the staff very friendly. If you are looking for luxury and pleasure, you will have to pay a little more to be better off in Coron.
