Born in 1939, Yediot Yediot belongs to the families Moses and Fishman. He marries a willingly populist sensationalism to investigative journalism and passionate debates. On the right, however, the publication defends an independent editorial line of the nationalist right, via a often caustic or courageous line. If the layout of its daily edition is high in colour, the same is not true for its Sabbath edition, which, like its competitors, is augmented by two excellent weekly and cultural weekly supplements.
