Lidwala Backpacker Lodge is quite new. It is the best cheap address for small budgets, but its cottages are excellent. Its swimming pool in a beautiful garden is a real asset. It is located in the middle of nature and offers camping, dormitories with shared bathrooms, as well as en-suite rooms and cottages in nice bungalows with terraces. Excursions are organized to Mbabane, but also village visits to discover handicrafts, quad biking or trekking in the heart of the Milwane nature reserve next door, etc.

Mbabane, which is not a tourist town as such, has few budget addresses. However, if you're stopping off here, this local hotel is a good option for small budgets. The air-conditioned double or twin rooms, pretty with plenty of cushions, have en-suite bathrooms, WiFi and TV. Continental breakfast is included at a more than reasonable price for the comfort on offer, especially as the hotel has a garden with a terrace and a swimming pool for cooling off.
