FÊTE DU TRAVAIL

Moldovans take advantage of this holiday, in the beautiful days of spring, to spend a day of rest with family or friends, around a big picnic. In the parks of Chişinău people barbecue and eat good şaşlik (grilled meat skewers). Everyone brings their own equipment, barbecues are not yet forbidden in the city parks... The atmosphere is festive. That same day, the authorities show that they are repairing the roads, repainting the facades of the main streets, another way of celebrating this Labor Day.
