Stores and boutiques are generally open from 9am to 1pm and from 2pm to 7pm. They are sometimes closed on Sundays, or on Mondays if the store is open at the weekend. Markets are lively from early morning until late afternoon.

From wood carvings and natural stone sculptures to traditional masks, you'll find plenty to choose from at the largest craft market opposite the Slavery Museum. The vendors are tough to negotiate with, but you'll easily be able to beat the competition.
