The old wooden house presents Bertoni's scientific legacy and history. On display are microscopes, herbaria, insect collections, pedal press (where he printed his articles), books and manuscripts. The highest point in the metropolitan area (139 m) lies to the south of Asunción, close to the Bañado Sur slums, so you'll need to be careful if you're going there on your own.
