Read moreThe Projet Hospital project, launched by the Maison Shalom on the land of the family of Maggy Barankitse, 2 km north of Ruyigi (direction Cankuzo), follows the mother-child centre that was built by the Belgian and Burundian army in 2007. It has been supported by several international bodies (the Jean-François Peterbroeck Foundation, UNHCR) and embassies (Germany, France, Luxembourg) and opened in early 2008 in the presence of the highest authorities in Burundi. It is, in the middle of a stars region in general, a humanitarian UFO.
