FESTICAB

In 2014, the sixth edition of this «International Film and Audiovisual Festival of Burundi» was held, which is now a well-performing event. Films from many African countries are projected in several theatres in the country, and international and national prices are presented. The event was launched by the ABCIS (Burundian Association of Image and Sound Creators), chaired by Léonce Tchepo, who still heads the festival. It is supported by private and public partners, as well as festivals such as FIFA in Mons or the Zimba in Ouagadougou. In 2014, the festival took place from June 13 to 20, but some years had been held in April or May. Check on the site.
