CROSS DU GRAND BARA

Every year, the French Forces stationed in Djibouti (FFDJ) organize the Grand Bara cross-country race, a 15 km linear race, bringing together nearly 1,500 runners, in the eponymous desert. This desert marathon is one of the most important sporting events in the country. It attracts many sportsmen (and women!) of all nationalities, including tourists who can take advantage of this unique challenge to visit the country and discover the arid immensity of the Great Bara. A good physical condition is of course required.
