Lake Togo is the main body of water in a lagoon system located in the maritime region of Togo. It lies on the coast, facing the Gulf of Guinea, 15 km east of the capital Lomé and 10 km west of Vogan. Lake Togo is mainly freshwater, and is located behind a dune barrier that stretches along the 75 km Togolese coastline.
