Language courses

Studying here means discovering the French language at the heart of the University of Lorraine and benefiting from its infrastructure. Le DéFle enables foreign students in residence in the city to learn and/or perfect their French, while discovering the culture of our country. Registration is preceded by a language test. In the heart of the city, the Student's House is a municipal service designed to promote the integration of students enrolled in a higher education institution. For them, a housing service, between private students and owners. The student must present himself with his valid student card to obtain a list of private owners. These dwellings are located in Toulon and in the toulonnaise agglomeration. All types of accommodation can be proposed: room in the living room, studio, apartment, villa, furnished or empty, colocations. Other service, assistance to small student jobs (ad hoc missions, year-to-year contracts, seasonal contracts, and special courses): Students register with a computer support CV, an identity photo, and their valid student card. BIBLIOTHEQUE SONORE DE BRIVE ET DE LA CORREZE

This association shall record books on CD 3 for all persons for whom the prevention of reading is medically attested: historical stories, novels, police… more than 5,000 titles. Since 2006, the Sound Library of Brive has recorded and serious the Corrèze Magazine and Brive Mag every month. Currently, the Sound Library of Brive is: a dozen animators, fifteen voice donors, more than 100 audio-readers, more than 5,000 works recorded in catalog and more than 2,600 titles lent each year. Cds are sent to audio readers by post (free port and back), or removed from the Audio Library at peak times. Everything is free! To be able to benefit from it, you only have to submit a medical certificate.

The SUAPS offers students and staff of Clermont-Ferrand's universities over 30 activities at different times of the day, so that everyone can find a slot to suit their schedule. The Sainté Pass has undergone a metamorphosis and in September 2023 became La Boge, the city's new free website for all students and young people aged 13 to 29, living or studying in Saint-Etienne. "Boge" comes from "gaga" and refers to a satchel or canvas bag. The CROUS, or Centre Régional des oeuvres Universitaires et Scolaires, is the reference establishment for all students in the Orleans-Tours academy. Student grants, housing in university residences, university restaurants, but also a cultural service which proposes the Student Cultural Passport (the famous PCE!), or social assistants... If you are a student, with or without a grant, the CROUS offers you its help to improve your living and working conditions. On site, you have access to a documentation room with a large number of paper tools to help you see more clearly (files, magazines, job descriptions, etc.). But the best thing is to ask to be received by a guidance counsellor-psychologist, free of charge, so that you can feel accompanied, supported and advised. The interviews are confidential. CRIJ BRETAGNE

The mission of the CRIJ (Centre Régional d'Information Jeunesse) is to produce information for young people (health, training, law, employment...) and to program training courses for network professionals and partners. The CRIJ website is a mine of information on a wide range of subjects (employment, training, housing, volunteering, etc.). Two separate sites are dedicated to international initiatives and mobility: jep.bzh and enroutepourlemonde.org. Although CRIJ no longer receives the public on its premises, it does offer a dedicated online chat service. It also organizes annual regional editions for young people on jobs and housing.
