We never imagined we would be able to surf one day in the heart of the 15th arrondissement, but it is possible: Wave in Paris is an artificial wave 16 meters long and 10 meters wide, in a 1,000 m² center. On an inclined plane, the wave thus created allows children as well as adults to realize bodyboard and flowboard figures. Local stand-up paddle surfing champion Alexis Deniel runs a surf school on Trestraou beach, where he began his career. The safe spot is perfect for beginners and experienced surfers alike. You can learn or perfect your surfing or stand-up paddling skills, for one session or a whole week. PSS also offers supervised stand-up paddle trips along the Pink Granite Coast, accessible to all. Facing France's largest lake, Kite Zone School (KZS to its friends) has its feet in the water, just a stone's throw from the village, shops and campsites. All year long, Manu and his team welcome you on the beach of Conches and the mythical spot of Bud to practice surfing and stand-up paddle. Children and beginners of all ages will discover the joys of surfing and learn the safety rules for the ocean and the respect of this environment. Experienced surfers can improve their skills at Bud (private lessons, video support...). Manusurf also organizes stays for minors at the surfcamp, a week of good humor and encounters punctuated by surfing lessons,...

Since 2009, this first surf school in Ille-et-Vilaine trains those who want to play with the waves of Longchamp in bodyboard, surf or paddle. The spot is ideal for beginners, the sandbanks form rollers accessible to novices and the orientation of the beach allows the swell to rush in regularly. For beginners and advanced surfers, the Surf Harmony team will guide you according to your level: all the equipment is provided. You can also rent a board or a paddle, and a wetsuit, for the day or half-day.

It's Thomas who hides behind the name of the big clawed plush that you don't spontaneously imagine on a surfboard. He started surfing around the age of 15, on the same wild beach that he offers you to discover by the wave. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced surfer, you will be able to surf even in the middle of winter with indoor temperatures that will make you drop your shirt. After a 5 minute briefing, you're off for 50 minutes of laughter and sliding under the eyes of your instructors who will help you to stay upright in the first moments, before "letting go" on the wave in complete safety, but only from 8 years old. On the famous Cavaliers beach in Anglet, 5 minutes from Biarritz, Mathieu and his team of qualified instructors, with over 20 years' experience, organize, advise and introduce surfing to all ages. The school is certified by the French Surfing Federation. Lessons are scheduled according to the tides. In rough weather, the surf school can take you to more suitable spots. Lessons, courses, school and accommodation are also available during the week. The surf school has a new permanent structure on the beach, with an on-site shower.
