Base de Plein-Air Lac Eguzon in Eguzon-Chantôme offers all-inclusive holidays with accommodation, catering and sporting activities on the shores of Lac d'Eguzon. We also offer equipment rental and supervised courses in sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, paddling, mountain biking, climbing, archery and orienteering. It's one of the three basins in the La Rochelle area. At the time of writing, Palmilud is undergoing a complete overhaul before opening in summer 2024. A miniature harbor welcomes budding captains aboard miniature electric boats. They can choose to sail on a replica of a fishing boat or a Brittany Ferries liner, for a river trip on the Jaunay river, where there are only 5 of you on board. Easy piloting for the youngest thanks to a steering bar and a button for the speeds. In season, reservation is recommended. For a change, we also offer kayaks (for 1 to 5 people), pedal boats (for 2 to 6 people) and paddles for rent.

This recently renovated swimming pool (reopened at the end of January 2019) has two long pools of 25 m and 12.50 m respectively. The average water temperature is 28.5°C. The place is clean, spacious and bathed in light thanks to large bays. Lines in the large pool can be reserved for experienced swimmers, including one for those with fins. The children will be delighted in the small pool, with its large slide, fries and boards. By raising your nose a little between two fathoms, you can see through the glass roof the top of the bell tower of Saint-Odile church. Those who dream of tranquility will have to go their way: for its quality, this pool is very popular.

To relax and have fun, you have to go to the O! With its many pools and its wide range of sporting or recreational activities, this five thousand square metre aquatic area allows children to enjoy a paddling pool in complete tranquillity, children and teenagers to have fun in the leisure pools with their many water jets and their 6-track slide. The different sailing areas of the sailing school of La Barre-de-Monts/Fromentine welcome people who practice nautical activities such as sailing (catamarans), sand yachting, kayaking. Its vast beaches open at low tide make it easy to practice sand yachting all year round, from 8 years old (like kayaking), alone or in pairs (two-seater sand yachting).
