All summer long, the Vichy Community Children's Department organizes discovery courses that are both sporty and fun. All you have to do is sign up for a day with a meal or an afternoon without a meal. 24 places are available for 12 and 13 year olds and 24 places for 14 to 17 year olds. Perfect for discovering exciting and surprising activities, supervised by specialized animators. It also gives you the opportunity to learn to be more autonomous while having fun, to learn how to live in a group and to share good times together. Each week, two totally different themes are proposed according to age. Head in the air: Vertical Limit, climbing initiation, Via Corda, adventure course... Feet in the water: swimming pool, paddle, river descent, canoeing... Survival operation: plant recognition, setting up a camp, preparing a fire, bivouac... World sports : tchoukball, kin-ball, dacau-peteca, bubble soccer... US week : baseball, ultimate, flag soccer, cross country... Role play : a mission, a team of adventurers, tests leaving room for victory or failure... Street art : street art and skateboard initiation... Graine d'acteur : improvisation theater with a performance in front of an audience on Friday. On two wheels: agility course (mountain biking), greenway outing (mountain biking), bike park (BMX), mountain biking in the Bourbonnaise Mountains... depending on the weather conditions, and these are just a few examples.

We already know the Cougars of SLUC, but what about the Tigers? These are members of the American soccer club, founded in 1987 and which, thirty years later, now has more than 450 members. Five teams, junior, cadet, senior, through a women's team, and a mixed flag team, regional champion 2015-2016. And who says American soccer, also says cheerleading, with a registration to cheerleading possible from six years old. Very good atmosphere and very good state of mind, for a contact sport much less violent than it seems.

Did you know there was an American soccer team in Rouen? The club, founded in 1996, has no fewer than 350 members, all fans of this demanding sport. Spectacular, ultra-physical and technical, American soccer requires sustained training, the repetition of meticulous tactical combinations, flawless coordination and collective commitment from start to finish. A flag soccer section, a non-contact variant but with just as much physical effort and feints, is open to both boys and girls.

CLERMONT FOOTBALL AMÉRICAIN

Better known for its rugby team, Clermont also has an American soccer team. Three-time French second-division champions and two-time runners-up, the senior team Les Servals de Clermont now play in the D3 division. A junior team and a cadet team also compete in the French championship. While the head office is located at the Louis-Thévenet gymnasium, training sessions take place at the Cézeaux stadium for the seniors and at the Treimonteix stadium for the juniors and cadets. In July 2022, Romain Douhairie took over as club president.
