BAYEUX BRODERIE

Embroidery sewing and knitting

1 review

The point of Bayeux, used from the th century, is an art that Chantal James masters beautifully and teaches during her courses and embroidery courses. It reproduces scenes of the famous Tapestry, but not only, since Chantal applies the technique to other, more contemporary media. In its shop-shop you will find embroidery kits representing scenes of the Bayeux Tapestry (some of them 1 m!), kits on other themes and of course threads, drums, needles… As follows: it is possible to order via its website.

LE PETIT ATELIER

Creative leisure activities

A small workshop but great ideas on colours and materials is the credo of the Emporte Association. Accompanied by the moderator, children are invited to create their "explorer books" and play all the things: collage, painting painting, mosaic, jewelry. On the basis of two Wednesdays a month, the calendar is fast filled and the works have time to dry! Adults are not forgotten: evening workshops on the same dates as children (18 h to 20 h) are reserved. Flexibility in the organization, mixed sessions (children-adults) allow to evolve together on the same theme. On Saturday, internships on free theme, to be determined during registration are developed on antique mosaic, fresco or patinas, mould moulding, résine détournement, etc.

ATELIER GALERIE – GALERIE GRANVELLE

Painting

Because the Galerie Galerie carries its name, after the attraction of the gallery and the discovery of an art that opens to you and comes to ask you, you can deepen your discovery and understand the art otherwise by sliding in the back of the workshop, in the back-shop, and participating in the workshops proposed by the gallery. Adult workshops led by Isabelle Paciulo will allow you to slip into the skin of a creator and discover the sensations and techniques of watercolour, pastels and drawing. And as art is everybody's business and it's no age, you can also register your children at workshops led by Stéphanie Cheval, who, anxious to share his knowledge and passion of an art that is transmitted and opened, will take pleasure in starting the smallest, for 6 years, to creative leisure through painting, sculpture, etc., and to raise awareness. The objective: to speak their spontaneity in a climate of trust and exchange. The small ones are happy, ready to start again!

AURALITHE

Creative leisure activities

Auralithe was created more than ten years ago with the aim of promoting art in all its forms through the creation and dissemination of performances, animation and pedagogy, in France and abroad. And more specifically: live the drawing and sculpture according to live models through workshops, internships and exhibitions. Drawing and sculpture, closely related disciplines, are addressed successively during a session: when a sculpture is completed, the next session is devoted to drawing, to deepen certain concepts. This association now has about beginner or confirmed members. They meet several times a week at two steps from the Boulevard du Jeu-de-Paume to tackle different kinds of sculptures: bas-relief, high relief and ronde. The workshops are moderated by Eric Chatalin, a sculptor trained at Charles Auffret in Reims, and then in the Decorative Arts of Paris. On a Sunday a month, Auralithe offers a 6-hour internship, with a living model, to deepen the techniques discussed.
