Marilyn the red and Audrey the blue are confident: The Library of the Latin Quarter is one of the favourite theatres of the regulars in the Sorbonne district. Monroe and Hepburn were at the time of creation of the facility: 1966. After leaving the Action network, the Library underwent a profound lift in 2006 and regained a second youth thanks to Jean-Max and François Causse. Two rooms - Marilyn the red and Audrey the blue so - highlight heritage-owned movies… Every year, many festivals are also organised (Turkish, Hungarian, Kurdish…) and cycles intended for the young public make it possible to make this Film a symbol of the Latin Quarter.

Far from the film multiplex in which cinema is synonymous with industry and profitability, The Hybrid is required as an indispensable place, both private bar and associative cinema dedicated to the seventh Art with a large A. According to a variety of programming - which goes from festival of short films to the Improbables Festival, from traditional cinema to the experimental -, films share The poster and allows you to discover unknown pearls or to enjoy on a large screen an old classic. Movie concerts are an opportunity to enjoy the movies in an original way, while the possibility of taking a drink at any time and the sofas in which the viewer installs him from the start in a cosy and convivial atmosphere. And for those who would like to continue exploring audiovisual forms at home, the Hybrid shop offers many Dvds and magazines. Before and/or after the projection, it is possible to chat with a glass, bar or one of the tables. The products offered are organic and fair! The Hybrid is a private circle that keeps its members growing, both its innovative concept and its simple and friendly atmosphere are matched only by the quality of the proposed programming. Finally, twice a year, the Hybrid also organizes exhibitions dedicated to artists or collectives with many debates to further develop cultural reflection. In May 2017, the Hybrid celebrated its 10 years by reprogramment 10 short films that were presented throughout this decade of existence. A nice demonstration. So let us hope for this unique and atypical place still of many anniversaries of this kind!

At the University of Savoy, at Jacob Bellecombette, Amphitheatre 11000, every Wednesday of the school year a film in VO preceded a short film. Open to all, this cinema is not a film club, but a cinema room with a commercial status managed by an association. He can therefore pass the films of his choice and remain unique in France. The modest price requested just covers rights returned to distributors of films. Here you can see movies on the first day they come out, but also retrospective, great classics, cycles and always in VO. Univerciné joins festivals and the Espace area for some projections. A word on the screen, 7 m wide, a sound sound Dolby 5.1, a projection booth in digital format or 35 mm, in short, from the professional! All managed by students.
