It is always with a great pleasure that we stroll in the middle of the bins and the shelves of this bookshop which constitutes the biggest collection of comics in Brittany. The parquet floor creaks under each of our steps and the abundance of works which surrounds us gives dizziness. To orientate us, the store has just set up a new signposting. We can easily spot the new releases, the comics, the SF section, the classics, the children's comics, the merchandising, but there is nothing better than the advice of the booksellers to transport you into exciting stories and to give you their favorites. Follow the news on the networks to note the dates of the meetings and dedications.

COUVENT SAINTE-CÉCILE - GLÉNAT

Comic book store
5/5
1 review

A place apart in Grenobloise history, the convent Sainte-Cécile and the adjoining chapel were built in the seventeenth century to shelter the religious of the Bernardines. After being transformed into a cinema theater, a bar dancing, in theater, suffering some damage, the place regains its original beauty to host the head office of the famous Glénat publishing house, but still an exceptional library comprising more than 20,000 works from Jacques Glénat's personal collections and the catalog of Glénat editions. The Convent, a wonderful place to visit with a guide of the tourist office - in group or in individual - and a library that can be consulted on the site. Architecture, culture, literature: everything is gathered in one place for our greatest pleasure.

It's been 15 years since this cartoon library made the beautiful days of genre lovers.

Laurent Adorn has taken over the case for three years. This former computer agency manager is obviously a great amateur of Comic Strips. Client at the start of Comic Strips he realizes his Pet dream: Change in the world of comic. A change of formula? Not really. If only Laurent stopped the coffee game to give more room to the bd. It is an independent bookshop - bravo! - specialist who proposes the Franco-Belgian comic - all publishers of the general public to the independent label -, American comics - VF and VO -, manga - Japan -, manwha - Korean -, illustrated books - VF and VO -, para-bd - figurines, posters, gadgets. This is the dream of comic fous, because besides the available background, there is the listening and advice of a passionate lover. Meetings are regularly held with authors. rayons of opportunities and collectors.

The Bidibul, with its warm wood, shelves and bins, is the Trojan temple of comics. Even if it has become larger and clearer for the visitor who loves the 9th art, the rue de la Monnaie still lacks animation for those who don't know the address. Discoveries are guaranteed, however, thanks to Céline and Aurélien, who are inexhaustible on the subject. The couple have succeeded in making the store a friendly and dynamic place, with orders possible if the book you want is not available. Signing sessions are a regular feature. You feel right at home. Whether it's manga or classic comics, there's no risk of catching the shopkeepers off guard! They have a lot of books, but mostly a smile.

Every passionate cartoon enthusiast has spent countless hours on 63, the anthill of 9 th art. The shop line is clear: share bédé from 7 to 77 years.
