YÉLOMOBILE LA ROCHELLE

Getting around by electric car
4/5
1 review

In addition to the bus service, Yélo is also a car-sharing service combining two systems: electric cars (black roof) to be picked up spontaneously and dropped off wherever you wish within the authorized perimeter, and hybrid cars (yellow roof) to be reserved and returned to their point of departure. A total of 48 vehicles of different sizes are available for short journeys in the conurbation, or trips lasting several days. Membership and subscription are totally free: you only pay for what you use! A practical, economical and comfortable way to get around the city, the region and beyond, as you please. Once you've signed up, using the service is very simple: all you have to do is geolocate and, if necessary, reserve the car using the Yélomobile application. The vehicle is opened with a badge or the app. Once you're inside, you collect the key using a confidential code, and all you have to do is drive off! If you already subscribe to the CITIZ car-sharing service elsewhere in France, you can access Yélomobile simply by asking your usual operator. Reciprocally, as a Yélomobile user you have access to the 170 cities in the Citiz network!

LE TOUC - NAVETTE

Getting around by electric car

Les Toucs, 100% electric shuttles, criss-cross the city center in summer. It's very easy to use: a simple wave of the hand is enough to stop it. Fast, available, free and without reservation, the Touc is a great service. Just tell the driver your destination and the shuttle will be on its way, even if you're alone on board. The drivers pay particular attention to users, and are back in touch with the notion of public service.

Please note: This service runs from early June to late September, except Sundays, Mondays and public holidays.

TURTLE

Getting around by bike
Closed - Open to 08h00

The principle is original, yet simple: operating on a booking system similar to that of a VTC, the Turtle offer invites you to take a seat on board a chauffeur-driven bike. Comfortably seated (and sheltered), with the driver in front of you, you ride around the capital, Turtle using the capital's bicycle lanes. Beforehand, you'll need to download the (free) application. Extremely practical, the service is also particularly attractive in terms of fares. Eco-friendly and fast, it has a huge following.
