For journeys with correspondence, they will be via Paris or via Lyon. The TGV Rhine-Rhône line is under construction between Mulhouse and Dijon, meeting in 2011.

Thanks to the arrival of the TGV Rhine-Rhône, Strasbourg will only be 5 hours away from Marseille.

Other cities are connected to Strasbourg in direct TGV, such as Nantes - 5 hours 10 -, Rennes - 5 hours 15 -, and Lille - 3 hours 20 - or Champagne Ardenne TGV - 1 hour 50 - and Lorraine TGV - 1 hour 10.
