Seeing a book's summary told by its author on video? It is now possible. After two years of research and work, the Alsatian digital company Jolifish Europe has developed wow.ink, an Augmented Content Manager for which no technical knowledge is required and which integrates image recognition technology to add Augmented Reality to reading, even on already printed media. Somewhat like the QR Code, but much better, the reader has the opportunity with his smartphone to obtain additional content and information complementary to the reading of a book, with a link to videos. Les Éditions du Signe has been tempted by this technique, which aims to reconcile the free world and Augmented Reality. The first book to present the experience is "A nos héros du Quotidien, Merci! "a collective book, and the response of the Alsatian publisher to the COVID-19 pandemic which particularly hit the region. There is no doubt that this experience will inspire other publishers to use it for some of their next books. More information on the WOW INK website
