Day 1

Kilimanjaro Airport to arusha Town

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by a Sereti Wilderness Safaris representative and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. Meals on this day (lunch and dinner) will be at your own expense, depending on your arrival time. Overnight at Kahawa House on a bed and breakfast basis.



Day 2

Tarangire National Park Safari - Overnight in Karatu

After breakfast, depart from Arusha and journey to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. Located in northern Tanzania, Tarangire is renowned for its remarkable concentration of wildlife, particularly its large elephant herds that gather around the Tarangire River during the dry season (June to October).


The park's distinctive landscape is dotted with ancient baobab trees and is home to over 550 bird species, making it a paradise for birdwatchers. Wildlife sightings often include lions, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeest, and a wide variety of antelopes - along with rare species such as the fringe-eared oryx and greater kudu. Tarangire also serves as an important site for ecological research, particularly on African bush elephants and Masai giraffes.


In the late afternoon, you will drive to Karatu for your overnight stay at Ngorongoro Farm House, nestled on the edge of the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater - Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to approximately 30,000 animals, including rare black rhinos, and offers excellent sightings of wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, hippos, and predators such as lions and hyenas.


After exploring the crater, continue with a game drive en route to central Serengeti. Arrive at Serengeti Kati Kati Camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Full-Day Game Drive - Central Serengeti

After breakfast, check out with a packed lunch and depart for a full-day game drive in Central Serengeti National Park, focusing on the Seronera Valley-an area renowned for exceptional year-round wildlife viewing. This region hosts a high concentration of resident animals, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino), and lies along the path of the Great Migration, offering opportunities to witness large herds of wildebeest and zebra.


The diverse terrain, featuring open savannahs, rocky outcrops (kopjes), and riverine habitats, supports a rich array of predators and prey alike. After a thrilling day in the bush, return to Kati Kati Camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 5

Central Serengeti to Northern Serengeti

After breakfast, check out with a packed lunch and begin your morning game drive in Central Serengeti National Park. Later in the day, proceed northwards with game viewing en route to the Northern Serengeti, an area famed for its role in the dramatic Great Migration.

Covering approximately 15,000 square kilometers, the Serengeti's endless plains support the annual movement of over 3 million wildebeest, zebras, and other herbivores in search of fresh grazing and water. This natural spectacle also attracts Africa's highest concentration of lions, along with cheetahs, hyenas, and other predators.

Arrive in the evening at Pure Migration Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6

Full-Day Game Drive - Northern Serengeti

After breakfast depart for a game drive at Northern Serengeti where you will meet wildebeest migration. From July to October, wildebeests migrate to the Northern Serengeti in search of richer grazing grounds. Here they encounter one of the biggest challenges in their journey. The mighty Mara River! Mara River, which runs through Northern Serengeti and Maasai Mara becomes the setting for one of nature's most spectacular events: the wildebeest river crossing.

The violent torrents of the river and the crocodiles waiting in ambush manage to nab and drown quite a few wildebeests. The wildebeests are aware of the dangers, and if you are present there you can hear the low nervous grunts of the wildebeests and feel the tension in the air.

Day 7

After breakfast, check out with packed lunch and proceed to Arusha game en route. You will stop at mto wa mbu for Cultural activities at Masai boma. Later in the everning you will proceed to Arusha for dinner and overnight at Kahawa House. Bed and Breakfast.

Day 8

Arusha Town tour - Kilimanjaro Airport for Departure

After breakfast, pack your luggage's and sign out at the hotel. You will be picked up by your guide for town tour. In the afternoon you will enjoy your hot lunch at local dishes or any of your preferences in Arusha Town. Later in the evening you will drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure back home.
