Detail of the stay : Masai Mara -L Nakuru -Amboseli -Tswo East Safari de 8 jours - 8 days

Day 1: Nairobi - Masaï Mara

Pick up from the airport and enjoy the drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve with a stopover at the Rift Valley Viewpoint, arriving in time for lunch. After lunch, set off on a late afternoon safari in search of wildlife in the vast savannah that is home to the Big Five. Return to the resort for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Explore the Masaï Mara

Have breakfast before embarking on a full-day safari in the famous reserve. The Mara is predominantly flat, open grassland with long but fine grass dotted with acacia trees. The western edge of the Mara is formed by a geological fault throwing up the Esoit escarpment. Three main rivers drain the region: the Sand, the Talek and the Mara. It is at the crossroads of these rivers that many famous images of the Great Migration can be seen. Enjoy a picnic in the bush as you continue your search for wildlife. Return to the resort for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Explore the Mara

Take full advantage of all that Mara has to offer with a full day to explore. The expertise and experience of our driver-guide will maximize your chances of seeing all the splendors of the Masai Mara and beyond. A family of cheetahs sunbathing asleep on a rock, the drama of a lion killing just 15 to 20 feet from you, or the thrill of an elephant charge. The trees in the distance turn out to be the giraffe family. The clump of bushes is a pride of lions. And the rock that moves may be a rhinoceros moving heavily out of your way. Continue on to the Mara River for a sumptuous riverside picnic. Either way, the sheer mass and spectacle of the animals around you will provide endless opportunities to fill many albums with precious memories. Return to the resort for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Masai Mara - Parc du lac Nakuru

Leaving the Maasai Mara after breakfast, you'll cross Kenya's "breadbasket", where acres of wheat and barley litter the landscape, as you head north to Narok, the district headquarters for this part of Maasai territory. Now travel across the vast plains at the bottom of the Rift Valley, keeping an eye out for herds of giraffe and gazelle as you make your way up the Mau escarpment, before arriving at Lake Nakuru. The waters here were often colored a shimmering flamingo pink, due to the thousands of magnificent birds that line its shores. After lunch at Ziwa Bush Lodge, set off on an afternoon game drive in Nakuru National Park before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Lac Nakuru - Parc Amboseli

Enjoy an early breakfast before setting off by road to Amboseli National Park, famous for its breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The park is also home to over 420 species of birds, a huge population of elephants and other big game attracted by the underground springs fed by the melting snow of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Lunch at the lodge before setting off on your afternoon safari. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Explore Amboseli Park

Wake up early for a beautiful view of Mount Kilimanjaro before the clouds gather over the summit. We'll then set off on a safari. Amboseli is an excellent place to observe a multitude of wild animals, from wildebeest to giraffes and baboons. You'll have breakfast after returning to the lodge and enjoy lodge amenities such as the sun-warmed waters of the swimming pool, have lunch at the lodge at midday and enjoy an afternoon's rest before setting off on another safari.

Amboseli is home to the legendary Masai tribe. These warriors are a famous and proud nomadic tribe whose legendary fighting prowess and single-handed acts of bravery in battles against wild animals are known the world over. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Amboseli - Parc Tsavo Est

After breakfast, leave the lodge, enjoy the drive and safari en route as you head to Voi Safari Lodge for lunch. After lunch, embark on a late afternoon safari in the park. The park is more arid than its eastern counterpart, with dry bushes and rocky outcrops, such as the 1.6 km-long Mudanda Rock outcrop. The spectacular Yatta Plateau, some 290 km long, pours its lava flows into the park. A series of rapids, commonly known as Lugards Falls, on the Galana River wind through the park.

Animals: The park is home to many of the world's largest mammals, including red-skinned elephants, rhinos, buffalo, lions, leopards, hippos, crocodiles, waterbucks, lesser kudu, gerenuk and hirola. There are over 500 species of bird in the park. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Tsavo East - Nairobi

Depart after breakfast, as you make your way to the park gate, enjoy a game drive en route. Return to Nairobi and drop you off at the airport in time for your flight.
