Detail of the stay : 9 jours Nairobi-Samburu-L Nakuru-Mara-L Naivasha-Amboseli - 9 days

Day 1: From Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve

Departure is early in the morning from your pick-up point. The journey takes around 7 to 8 hours to your hotel, with 2 or 3 stops organized by your driver guide depending on departure time. The route crosses the equator in central Kenya and offers magnificent views of Mount Kenya, Kenya's highest mountain. On the first day of your safari, you can look forward to many other attractions, beautiful scenery along the way and other different destinations to visit before reaching the Samburu National Reserve and other different destinations to visit. On arrival at the hotel, you'll enjoy a late lunch after being warmly welcomed by the hotel staff. Later, you'll depart for a late afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Explore the Samburu National Reserve

You'll enjoy morning and afternoon game drives on this day. Samburu National Reserve is famous for its unique view of the five special species of reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, Grevy's zebra, gerenuk and lesser kudu found only in the northern part of Kenya. Other animals include huge herds of elephants and other members of the "Big Five". Large antelopes such as elands and smaller species such as dik-diks are also present. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: From Samburu to Lake Nakuru National Park

You'll have an early breakfast to start the journey as soon as possible to Maili Saba Tented Camp in Nakuru. It's also a long drive of around 7 to 8 hours. Lake Nakuru National Park lies just behind the town and is famous for its huge flocks of pink flamingos and other bird species such as waterfowl, game birds, birds of prey and so on. Rothschild's giraffe, not often seen in other Kenyan parks, can also be spotted here grazing in large herds. Black and white rhinos offer park visitors an unforgettable experience as they graze close by. Lunch, dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Nakuru - Masai Mara National Reserve

The Mau Forest Road, a forest that serves as a source of water for the Mara River and other swamps in the Masai Mara National Reserve, will take you to the reserve, which is one of Kenya's best-known parks. The drive takes around 4-5 hours to reach the main entrance to the Masai Mara National Reserve. You'll arrive in time for lunch and have some time to relax afterwards. Later, you'll depart for the evening game drive. Later, you'll have dinner and spend the night at the hotel.

Day 5: Masai Mara National Reserve

You'll have more time in the wild to look for animals. Your experienced and knowledgeable guide can take you inside the park. Different types of photos taken with your phone or camera will always remind you of this unforgettable trip.

The Masai Mara is home to the Big Five and hundreds of other listed animal species. The Mara ecosystem is home to Kenya's highest concentration of wildlife, and is therefore a World Heritage Site. Birdwatchers also appreciate this visit, as it allows them to update their largest number of bird species. Lunch will be prepared and served by your guide in the middle of the safari, while you enjoy the park.

Later in the evening, you'll return to the camp/lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Masai Mara - Lac Naivasha

You'll set off for Lake Naivasha immediately after breakfast. The journey from Mara to Naivasha takes around 5-6 hours. Lunch is served at the hotel/lodge on arrival. Day 7: Lake Naivasha - Amboseli National Park

The drive from Lake Naivasha to Amboseli takes around 5-6 hours, so an early start is advisable to arrive at the camp/lodge in time for lunch. You'll relax and freshen up after lunch and prepare for the evening safari until sunset. Later, you'll have dinner and spend the night at camp.

Day 8: Amboseli National Park

You'll enjoy early morning and afternoon safaris. At these times of day, you'll enjoy the large herds of elephants crossing the roads as they come to feed in the swamps in the morning and return to their resting places in the evening. The feline family, such as lions and cheetahs, are also very active in this park when the sun isn't too hot.

The park's wetlands attract many water birds, both large and small. There are also ostriches, game birds, eagles and, of course, carnivores that need to clean their prey, such as vultures and storks. The peaks of Kilimanjaro offer the best views at dawn or dusk.

Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.

Day 9: Amboseli National Park - Nairobi

After breakfast, you'll leave the hotel at your leisure to return to Nairobi or your accommodation.

Your arrival at your accommodation marks the end of your safari.
