Detail of the stay : 10 jours Samburu-Aberdare-L Nakuru-Mara-L Naivasha-Amboseli - 10 days

Day 1: Departure for Samburu National Reserve

You'll be picked up in Nairobi and enjoy the drive to Samburu National Reserve, created in 1948 as part of the huge Marsabit National Reserve under the National Parks Ordinance. You'll arrive in time for lunch before embarking on an afternoon game drive.

Samburu is home to the big five: elephant, lion, rhino, leopard and buffalo. Other animals of interest include gerenuks, reticulated giraffes, Somali ostriches, gravy zebras, besia oryx and endangered wild dogs. There are also over 450 species of indigenous birds, as well as a wide variety of reptiles and aquatic species in the Waso Nyiro River. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Explore the Samburu National Reserve

You'll enjoy an early morning game drive before sunrise. This is the best time to have a chance to witness a hunt before the sun drives the animals into hiding, and you'll return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch. In the evening, you'll enjoy another game drive for a chance to see animals you didn't see in the morning. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Samburu - Aberdare National Park

After breakfast, you'll drive to central Kenya and head into the forests of Aberdare for lunch at Aberdare Country Club. You'll then drive to Ark Lodge, located in the heart of Aberdare National Park, which resembles and is named after Noah's Ark. It features three decks from which numerous balconies and lounges offer superb wildlife viewing. To make sure you don't miss any animal sightings, the night watchman will ring the bell in your room when particular animals come to the watering hole.

Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 4: Aberdare - Lake Nakuru National Park

You'll leave the lodge after breakfast and enjoy the view as you drive towards Lake Nakuru National Park, home to hundreds of bird species, including thousands of Lesser Flamingos, and abundant wildlife, including rhinos. You'll have lunch after checking in at the lodge. After relaxing at the lodge, you'll depart in the late afternoon for a game drive. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, enjoy the views and scenery en route to the Masai Mara National Reserve, home to over 400 species of birds and abundant wildlife, including the famous Big Five. You'll have lunch after checking in. After relaxing at the lodge, enjoy an evening game drive. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Explore the Masai Mara National Reserve

Take full advantage of all the Mara has to offer with a full day to explore. The expertise and experience of our driver-guide will maximize your chances of seeing all the splendors of the Masai Mara and beyond. A family of cheetahs basking on a rock, the drama of a lion killing an animal 15-20 feet from you, or the thrill of an elephant charge. The trees in the distance turn out to be the giraffe family. The group of bushes is a pride of lions. The moving rock may be a rhinoceros getting out of your way. On to the Mara River for a sumptuous riverside picnic. You'll visit the Maasai villages for an up-close cultural tour (payable directly). In any case, the sheer mass and spectacle of the animals around you will give you the opportunity to fill an album of precious memories. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Masai Mara - Lac Naivasha

After breakfast, you'll drive to Lake Naivasha, known as a world-class birdwatching destination. You'll have lunch after checking in. In the afternoon, you can relax and enjoy the hotel's facilities or indulge in additional activities in the Lake Naivasha area. Dinner and overnight stay at the country club.

Day 8: Lake Naivasha - Amboseli National Park

You'll enjoy an early breakfast before setting off by road to Amboseli National Park, famous for its breathtaking views of Kilimanjaro. The park is also home to over 420 species of birds, a huge population of elephants and other big game attracted by the underground springs fed by Kilimanjaro's melting snow. Lunch at the lodge before setting off on your afternoon safari. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 9: Explore Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, your day will be rich in activities with a safari in the park, home to large herds of wild elephants among other animals, and a picnic lunch in the bush in search of wild animals and birds. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Amboseli - Nairobi

After breakfast, you'll leave the country and drive to Nairobi, also known as the "green city in the sun". You'll be dropped off at the airport in time for your flight.
