Day 1: VISIT SOUTH CIRCUIT AND SUNSET IN LAC ABBEH

Morning after breakfast, drive to the South. The Southern part of the Republic of Djibouti, (which Arta Village, Grand & Petit Bara and Ali Sabieh are part of it), is the most Desert area of the country. Also, mountainous as well as the Northern part of Djibouti but the colours of the mountains are different – reddish in the South and greens in the North. After visiting the desert of Grand & Petit Bara, you drive to Dikhil for lunch and for visiting the town too.


Afterwards, you drive to Lac Abbeh and stop for small break in Asa eyla . You visit the chimneys and you explore the area until the sunset. And it’s the end of the tour of the day, and then dinner. Sometimes, after dinner, real nomad folkloric dance is organized for tourists, not always! After dinner is your own time. Day 2: SUNRISE IN LAC ABBEH & VISIT LAC ASSAL AND SURROUNDINGS

The wakeup call for the sunrise is early in the morning. You drive to the chimney’s area for sunrise and visit hot springs. After visiting and exploring Lac Abbeh, back to tourist camp for breakfast, drive back to Dikhil for lunch, en route you stop in Kouta Bouya to visit the village, after lunch at La Palmeraie, you drive to Lac Assal to visit the lowest point in Africa. En route, you stop for visiting scenic views of Canyon and faults; part of the Danakil depression. THE LAC ASSAL” or Bahr al Assal in Arabic, the sea of honey (153 m below sea level) is located 107 kms west of Djibouti town. After visiting Lac Assal & surroundings, drive to Djibouti city for dinner and overnight. Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
