Day 1: Welcome to Tanzania

He will drive you to your Arusha accommodation to relax and prepare for your next day's safari. On the way, he will tell you about our beautiful country and the peaceful people who call Tanzania home.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

Steps: Tarangire National Park

You will depart from Arusha in the morning and head to Tarangire National Park, arriving before midday. Once in the park, you can enjoy a morning and afternoon game drive with a delicious lunch in between. In the early evening, after your game drive, you will exit the park and return to your campsite for dinner and your overnight stay.

Main attractions at Tarangire National Park:

* Large herds of elephants and massive baobab trees.

* Over 550 different bird species, migratory and permanent.

* Abundant biodiversity.

* The Tarangire River.

Day 3: Parc national du Serengeti central

Steps: Serengeti National Park

Depart Karatu in the morning after a hearty breakfast and make your way to the famous Serengeti National Park. En route to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will have a chance to view the Ngorongoro Crater before reaching the Serengeti gate. After lunch, you will head out on an afternoon game drive to look for some wildlife before sunset and dinner at the campsite.

Day 4: Northern Serengeti National Park

Steps: Serengeti National Park

The entire day is set aside for game drives in the park. The Serengeti is home to abundant wildlife, such as impala, buffalo, crocodile, and hippo, but is more well-known for its great migrating herds of zebra and wildebeest.

The rainfall determines the timing of the animals' migration and varies from year to year. In November and December, the animals move from the northern region, dominated by woodlands and hills, to the grassy plains of the south.

The herds return to the north during the extended rainy season from April to June. Apart from the migrating herds, you may see predators, such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions, always lurking nearby. With a full day on the plains accomplished, you return to the campsite for a well-deserved rest, encased in a comfortable sleeping bag, dreaming of wild cats!

Day 5: Serengeti National Park

Steps: Serengeti National Park

Today, you will head out early on your morning game drive to witness a magnificent African sunrise in the bush. Head out after a cup of coffee and experience the wilderness and its magnificent creatures as they wake up among the dew-covered grasses. Later, you will head back to camp for breakfast and some relaxation. In the afternoon, you will head out once more for another chance to explore the plains in search of African wildlife as you exit the park.

Main attractions of an early morning game drive:

* The best time to encounter animals and birds.

* Animals are more active in the morning than in the afternoon.

* The best chance of seeing predators on a hunt.

* The best time to capture lovely pictures in beautiful morning light.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will depart from the campsite with a picnic lunch and descend the amazing Ngorongoro Crater. Explore the magnificent world of diversity within, surrounded by the imposing walls that encircle the area.

It is possible to see all of Africa's Big Five within the crater and a vast array of other wildlife, including hundreds of bird species. Enjoy a full day in the crater!

Day 7: Farewell to Tanzania

Steps: Moshi

After a good night’s rest, it is time to depart. But first, enjoy breakfast around 8:00am before heading to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
