Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Arrival in Cairo, welcome at Cairo airport and transfer to hotel.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Sakkarah Necropolis / Giza Plateau
Steps: Le Caire, Plateau De Guiza, Saqqarah
After breakfast, departure for the Sakkarah Necropolis: the famous step pyramid of King Djoser, the Royal Pyramids, funerary texts, mastabas..
Lunch.
Afternoon visit to the Giza Plateau: the Pyramids and the Sphinx.
Return to hotel.

Day 3: Museum of Egyptian Antiquities / Mohamed Ali Mosque

After breakfast, departure for the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities (founded in 1857 by French Egyptologist Auguste Mariette).
Then lunch.
In the afternoon, departure for the Mohamed Ali Mosque within the walls of Saladin's citadel; followed by a visit to the Sultan Hassan Mosque and the Khan El Khalili souk.
Return to hotel.
