Day 1: Arrival in Ulan Bator

Arrival at Ulaanbaatar airport, where our team will welcome you. Transfer to the hotel in the center of the capital. After a rest time, visit of the museum and stroll in the city center.

Day 2: Oulan-Bator- Baga Gazriin tchuluu

After a good breakfast departure for Baga Gazriin Tchuluu, an amazing granite formation in the heart of the steppe, at 1 768m of altitude.

Day 3: Baga Gazriin tchuluu - Tsagaan suvarga

Departure for Tsagaan Suvarga, the rock formations of Tsagaan Suvarga nicknamed the white stupa, this cliff measuring about 60m high and stretching over 400m long.

Day 4: Tsagaan suvarga- Yoliin am

Departure to the Yolain am, protected area. Canyon of Yol that you will now go to the largest national park in Mongolia, the Park of Gurvan Saikhan, "of the Three Beauties". You will discover the local fauna and flora during the visit of the park museum where live snow leopards, ibex (Gobi ibex), argali (wild sheep) and bearded vultures.

Day 5: Yoliin am - Khongoriin els

Road to the dunes of Khongor, passing by the superb landscapes of Mont de Trois Belles. High of more than 200 meters, wide of 12 km and extending on 100 km.

Walk and excursion in the dunes, enjoy riding a camel.

Day 6: Khongoriin els - Bayanzag

On the way to the Bayanzag cliff, along the "cliffs of fire", where many dinosaur fossils were discovered during the 20th century, including the first dinosaur eggs, during an American expedition led by Roy Chapman in 1922.

Day 7: Bayanzag - Ongiin khiid

En route to the ruins of the monastery of Ongiyn, located on either side of the river from which it took its name. Built from 1760 and was a victim of the communist purge of 1937. This monastery was restored in 2002. A small museum exhibiting carved stones rescued from the destruction of the monastery, several objects of worship.

Day 8: Ongiin khiid - Kharkhorin

On the way to Kharkhorin the ancient capital of the Mongolian Empire, and visit the monastery of Erdene Zuu. This monastery is the first monastery of Mongolia, its first construction dates from 1585 and 3 of its 62 temples, as well as the surrounding wall and its stupas, were destroyed during the communist purge of 1939. The monastery has now become an active place of worship again, after years of forbidden operation.

Day 9: Kharkhorin - Orkhon Valley

Departure to Orkhon valley and Ulaan waterfalls. The river flows from 16 meters high before calmly resuming its route through the steppe, created as a result of volcanic eruptions.

Day 11: Orkhon Valley - Tsenkher hot spring

Drive to Tsenkher hot spring on the way visit Tovkhon Monastery, in the larch forests, walk up to the monastery, whose location was chosen by Zanabazar. First pontiff of the Mongolian Lamaic Church at the end of the 17th century, and creator of the Mongolian alphabet Soyombo.

After departure for the hot spring, rest near the springs, walk, bath in the springs.

Day 12: Hot spring - Terkh lake

Drive to Terkh lake and Khorgo volcano, passing by the town Tsetserleg.2240 meters high Khorgo volcano. Near the volcano, impressive lava flows form an original landscape. Lake Terkhi is located at an altitude of 2060 m. This lake, nicknamed "the great white lake", as well as the surrounding volcanic region.

Day 14: Terkh Lake - Zuun Nuur Lake

Heading south to the vicinity of the village of Shine Ider and reach the small lake of Zuun Nuur.

Day 15: Lake Zuun nuur - Lake Khuvsgul

Departure for Khuvsgul Lake, which is called "the Blue Pearl of Mongolia" 2760 km2 of a mountain lake, with water so pure that you can drink it, and surrounded by a dozen peaks peaking at more than 2000 meters above sea level and covered with pine forests and lush meadows.

Day 17: Le lac Khuvsgul - volcan Uran togoo

On the way to Uran Uul, which is an extinct volcano whose crater rises to 1686 meters, measures 500 meters in diameter and 50 meters deep.

It is the most beautiful and famous volcano in Mongolia. It was active 20 to 25 million years ago. The Mongolian government first circumscribed the protected area of Uran Togoo.

Day 18: Uran togoo volcano - Amarbayasgalant monastery

Amarbayasgalant Monastery, whose name means "monastery of quiet bliss", is located near the Selenge River. It is one of the three largest monasteries in Mongolia. It was built in the eighteenth century by the Manchu emperor Enkh Amgalan Khan in memory of the first Bogd Gegeen, Zanabazar
