Stay : Visit to Santa's Land
You can get into the Christmas spirit all season long with this 5-day trip to Finnish Lapland. The program includes: a dogsled ride, a snowmobile ride, a reindeer sleigh ride and a snowshoeing trip. The icing on the cake is a visit to Santa's village in Rovaniemi. With all of these half-day activities, this program is definitely for families with children!

Throughout your stay, you can use warm outdoor clothing. Due to its small size and remoteness, you have a great chance to see the Northern Lights.

Detail of the stay : Visit to Santa's Land - 5 days
Day 1: On the way to Lapland
Flight to Lapland, local transfer to Valkea Lodge (2 hours) and check-in.
Upon arrival, review of the program and fitting of the "cold weather" clothes that you will keep for the duration of your stay.
In the evening, tasty dinner at the lodge's restaurant.
Day 2: Dog sledding and reindeer rides
After breakfast, visit the kennel. Safety instructions from the guide, then departure for a half-day excursion with the huskies (3 hours). Two of you will share a sled pulled by four to six Alaskan huskies. Perfect to alternate driving and contemplation of the magnificent Lappish landscapes.
Return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will visit the reindeer and the Sami who will take you for a short ride in their sled (1km).
In the evening, dinner at the lodge restaurant.
Day 3: Multi-activity days
After your beautiful snowmobile ride, lunch awaits you at the lodge's restaurant, followed by a snowshoe walk (3 hours) in the ancestral pine forests. Breathe in the fresh air of the Great North, and go deep into the snow, looking for fresh animal tracks. During the walk, the guide will explain all about the Lappish fauna and flora, which will no longer hold any secrets for you! Parents can borrow a sled to pull the children.
Back to the lodge in the late afternoon for a delicious dinner at the restaurant.
Day 4: Visit to Santa's village
Steps: Rovaniemi
After breakfast, you will go to Santa Claus' village in Rovaniemi, where you will meet this august character. Ideal for families with young children. After lunch (not included!), you can explore the center of Rovaniemi or visit the Arktikum Museum (entrance not included). Tasty dinner at the lodge
Day 5: Back to Belgium
Breakfast, then transfer to the airport and flight back to Brussels.
