Day 1:

In the morning, meet at the Maison du Parc in Saint-Côme-du-Mont to discover the Parc naturel régional des Marais du Cotentin et du Bessin on a self-guided or guided tour along a footpath that leads to several ornithological observatories.


At noon, a meal at the Guinguette des Marais installed on the pier of the port Jourdan inSaint-Côme-du-Mont (next to the Maison du Parc). Perfect for tasting local products and grilled foodand grilled meats at the brazier (open from April to September,lunchtime 7 days a week and Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings).


In the afternoon, discover the fauna and flora of the marshes on board the Rosée du Soleil inSaint-Hilaire-Petitville with the Bateliers des marais du Cotentin. This 1h45 guided tour traces the history and activities of the area, including that ofthe history and activities of the area, as well as that of the paratroopers who fell in the marshes during the Second World War.

Day 2:

In the morning, rent a bike at Cycles des Marais in Carentan to reach Utah-Beach from the Carentan marina (23.5 km) following the Vélomaritime itinerary. Stop at the place called Le Grand Vey , astrategic point of view on the Baie des Veys , where you can see seal pups withbinoculars. Discovery of the national nature reserve of the Beauguillot domain , known for itswaterfowl stopover and wintering sites.Trails, educational panels and observatories allow for an independent visit.

Day 3:

In the morning, a guided tour aboard the Belle de Carentan to discover the Baie des Veys from another point of view as well as the channel that links Carentan to the sea. It is not uncommon to come across calf seals living peacefully in the bay among migratory birds.
