Day 1: Aéroport du Kilimanjaro - Arusha

Steps: Arusha

Our friendly driver will be waiting for you at the Kilimanjaro airport for your transfer. After loading the luggage into the vehicle, you will head to the Venus Premier Hotel in Arusha. You can relax for the rest of the day or explore the small town of Arusha.

Day 2: Arusha – Parc national de Tarangire

Steps: Tarangire National Park

After a morning safari briefing, you will head southwest to Tarangire National Park. With its interesting landscapes - from swamps to baobabs - it is considered one of the most beautiful parks in northern Tanzania. Elephants can be seen in herds of up to 600, as well as wildebeest, Maasai giraffe, buffalo and zebra. You will enjoy a 4x4 safari until you leave the park in the late afternoon for the tented camp at Lake Burunge, where you will spend the night.

Day 3: Tarangire - Ngorongoro Crater

Steps: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will travel from the Tarangire area to the crater rim where you will take the steep and adventurous crater trail. Here, within a few square kilometers, you can find all the animals that live in the East African savanna. You'll see a diversity of wildlife ranging from the Big Five - lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard - to wildebeest, Grant's and Thomson's gazelles and mountain reeds in the forests on the slopes. The crater is also one of the best places to see the magnificent but nearly extinct black rhino. You will spend the morning on a 4 x 4 game drive followed by a picnic lunch. Later, drive to Ngorongoro Tortilis Camp

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater - Serengeti National Park

Steps: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you leave for the famous Serengeti. Drive to the Serengeti National Park. Serengeti means "endless plains" in the Maasai language and you will see the savannah stretching to the horizon. Bizarre rock formations dot the grassy landscape where predators roam. Blue wildebeest, Thomson's gazelle, zebra and buffalo are on the menu... With the open and bright roof of the safari vehicle, you can enjoy the diverse habitats and landscapes of the park. You will arrive in the Seronera Valley for an evening meal and overnight stay at Gnu Migration Camp.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park

Steps: Serengeti National Park

The whole day is devoted to game viewing in the Serengeti National Park. The areas you visit will depend on the location of the migrating herds. Predators usually follow the trekking animals closely. During the short rainy season in November and December, the herds move from the northern hills to the southern plains. During the longer rainy season from April to June, they return north. Since the migration depends on the annual rains, the location of the herds may vary from year to year, but your guide will know where best to see them. You will spend another night at the gnu migration camp.

Day 6: Serengeti - Réserve de Masai Mara

Steps: Maasai Mara National Reserve

Morning breakfast and drive to the Mara reserve arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in reserved 4x4. Dinner and overnight at Mara sentrim camp

Day 7: Masai Mara Reserve

Steps: Maasai Mara National Reserve

Full day spent exploring the park watching the wildebeest migration and the Big 5 with a drive to the Mara River where the crossing takes place. Dinner and overnight at Mara sentrim camp

The Masai Mara Game Reserve is arguably Kenya's most popular game sanctuary. It is the most famous and most visited game reserve in Kenya. The movie 'Out of Africa' was largely made in this reserve. Virtually every type of wildlife can be seen at the Mara. The spectacle to be seen is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle from the Serengeti plains across the Tanzanian border and the Mara River to the Maasai Mara grazing fields from late June. The spectacular river crossing and the prey of predators on the migrants can be seen from early July to August. The reserve is teeming with birds as about 452 species have been recorded. Hot air balloon safaris are readily available in this park

Day 8: Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru National Park

Steps: Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, continue your drive to arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in the park where you will have the chance to visit a unique sanctuary hosting a significant number of endangered rhino and Rothschild giraffe. Waterbucks as well as predators such as lion and leopard are common in the park. There are also a myriad of different varieties of birds in and around the lake. Flamingos are also abundant at the lake. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge

Day 9: Lake Nakuru - Amboseli National Park

Steps: Amboseli National Park

Departure to Naivasha and continuation to Amboseli National Reserve at the foot of the snow-capped Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa. Packed lunches en route. In the afternoon, the safari is booked. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sentrim Camp

Day 10: Amboseli National Park

Steps: Amboseli National Park

Amboseli National Park: full day in this photogenic park. Morning and afternoon game drives. Meals and overnight at Amboseli Kimana Camp or similar.

Amboseli National Park is one of the most popular wildlife sanctuaries in Kenya. Located near the Kenya-Tanzania border, the park lies at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain (5,896m) whose snow-capped peak offers a splendid view on a clear day. Amboseli National Park is often referred to as the "home of the elephants" as some of the largest herds of elephants are found here. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sentrim Camp

Day 11: Amboseli National Park - Nairobi

After breakfast, morning game drive if time permits and departure for Nairobi
