Day 2

Delhi/new Delhi

After breakfast, departure for a panoramic orientation tour of the republic's capital: Delhi, with a population of 28 million, is divided into the old and new parts of the city (New Delhi and Old Delhi). Chandni chowk district, jama masjid mosque, Rajghat, Mahatma Gandhi's cremation ground (red fort exterior view) India gate (triumphal arch), Rajpath, presidential palace, visit to the famous SIKH temple etc.Overnight at hotel.


Day 3

Delhi - Jaipur (6h drive)

After breakfast, departure for Jaipur.

In the afternoon visit to the Laxmi Narayan temple.

Bollywood film at Jaipur's famous "RAJMANDIR" cinema. Overnight at hotel.


Day 4

Jaipur- Amber- Jaipur

Jaipur, Rajasthan's capital "the pink city", was founded in 1728 by the warrior astronomer Maharaja Jai Singh II.

After breakfast, departure for an excursion to Amber Fort, 10 km north of the city, the former residence of the Maharajas in Mughal times. Amber is the former capital of the state, founded by the Minas and abandoned a few centuries later when Maharaja Jai Singh moved to Jaipur. Visit the palace with its mirror-set halls and the former harem.

Glimpse the Hawa Mahal or "Palace of the Winds", an extraordinary section of the wall of an ancient Baroque palace considered one of the wonders of Rajput architecture. The many windows that adorn its façade were built to allow the women of the royal harem to see out without being seen in return.

Visit to the city palace, the Maharaja's palace, part of which is still inhabited by the Maharaja and houses Mughal miniatures.

The astronomical observatory, Jantar-Mantar, built by Jai Singh II between 1728 and 1734, features the world's most accurate sundial.

Afternoon rickshaw and walking tour of the bazaar and free time. Overnight at hotel.


Day 5

Jaipur-Fatehpur Sikri-Agra (5h drive)

After breakfast, departure for Agra. On the way, visit the famous city of Fatehpur Sikri, founded by Akbar, the greatest Mughal leader. A magnificent Unesco World Heritage site. Continuation to Agra. Overnight at hotel.


Day 6

Agra

After breakfast, departure for Agra, one of the highlights of Mughal art and architecture: the Taj Mahal, the country's most famous monument, considered the eighth wonder of the world. This luminous mausoleum of white marble inlaid with semi-precious stones was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal.

(The Taj Mahal is officially closed every Friday).

Visit the Red Fort Agra's Red Fort, also known as Agra's Lal Qila, is one of the most important monuments of Mughal history. Located close to the Taj Mahal, it was primarily built by Emperor Akbar between 1565 and 1573. The fort is built of red sandstone, hence its name. Surrounded by immense walls almost 2.5 km long, overnight at hotel.

Visit the tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, often called the "Baby Taj", one of the most beautiful monuments in Agra, India. Built between 1622 and 1628, it is considered a jewel of Mughal architecture and a precursor of the famous Taj Mahal.


Day 7

Agra-Datia-Orcha (5h drive)

After breakfast, departure for Orcha, en route visit to Datia, overlooked by an ancient fort battered by the winds.continuation to the romantic city of Orcha, arrival late afternoon, stroll through the bazaar and free time. Overnight at your hotel.


Day 8

Orcha-Khajuraho (5h30)

After breakfast, visit Orcha. Its past as the capital of a powerful rajpute kingdom gave this town prestigious, well-preserved remains, including the Jehangir Mahal palace and a beautiful necropolis on the banks of the Betwa.

Continuation to Khajuraho, arrival late afternoon, free time. Overnight at hotel.


Day 9

Khajraho

After breakfast, discover one of India's most important archaeological sites, listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. These splendid temples, built a thousand years ago, are famous for their erotic sculptures and scenes of daily life. Artistic expression, both secular and religious, reaches heights of elegance and mastery. Free time to wander around the village. Overnight at hotel.


Day 10

Khajraho - Chitrkoot - Pragagraj (7/8 h drive)

After breakfast, departure by road for Prayagraj, stopping en route at Chitrakoot, a famous town on the border between Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. It occupies a special place in Indian culture because of its deep connection with the Ramayana.

Arrival in prayagraj late afternoon. Overnight at hotel.


Day 11

Prayagraj - Varanasi (3h drive)

After breakfast, Triveni Sangam - the holiest site, where pilgrims bathe during festivals and rituals. Prayagraj, formerly known as Allahabad, is one of India's holiest cities, located in Uttar Pradesh. It is famous for the Triveni Sangam, the sacred confluence of three rivers: the Ganges, the Yamuna and the invisible Saraswati. This place is said to purify sins and grant spiritual liberation.


Day 12

Varanasi - Delhi (domestic flight)

Early morning boat trip on the Ganges, enjoying a completely different atmosphere, with prayers on the sacred banks and ritual ablutions in the Ganges.Walking tour of the old town to the Aurangzeb mosque, built in the 17th century.A visit to the Golden Temple (entrance reserved for hinodus), the most sacred temple in Benares

In the afternoon, visit Sarnath, the famous site of Buddha's first sermon.

Transfer to the airport according to flight schedule.
