Day 1: Belgrade
Morning visit of the city centre: National Museum, Knez Mihajlova (main pedestrian avenue) and Skadarlija, Kalemegdan - medieval fortress overlooking the Sava and Danube rivers -, St. Sava church, the largest Orthodox church in the Balkans built in the 1990s.
Afternoon visit of the surroundings: Zemun and the Danube quays and Avala (mountain near Belgrade). Evening in Skadarlija, where the pedestrian street Skadarska abounds in restaurants and gypsy and Belgrade musicians.
Day 2: Novi Sad
Steps: Novi Sad
Visit of Novi Sad in the morning: Petrovaradin fortress, museum of Vojvodina for its folk costumes and crafts, the old Austro-Hungarian town.
Visit of the surroundings in the afternoon: monastery of Fruska Gora, baroque town of Sremski Karlovci, cruise on the Danube.

Day 3: Central Serbia
Steps: Kraljevo
Visit of Kraljevo in the morning: the residence of the Obrenovic kings and the monastery of Zica. Visit of Cacak in the afternoon: museum, spa and Kablar gorge.

Day 4: The valley of the kings
Steps: Novi Pazar
In the morning: Studenica monastery and Maglic fortified square. Novi Pazar in the afternoon: mosque of the city center and monastery of Sopocani.
Day 5: Descent of the Danube
Steps: Smederevo
In the morning: visit of Smederevo, a medieval fortress with its feet in the water. In the afternoon: visit of the Djerdap parade.
Day 6: Tara Park
Steps: Bajina Bašta
Day in the Tara National Park, hiking trails, then boat trip on the Drina.
