Stay : Leipzig, metropolis of contemporary art

Leipzig is one of the most popular European cities on the international art market. In the footsteps of the artist Neo Rauch, who has succeeded in combining the heritage of socialist realism with deconstructivist post-modernism, the New Leipzig School is a signature brand in the United States. Following the emergence of Neo Rauch, emulation spread in the late 1990s, attracting artists and students to Leipzig and using the neglected industrial heritage to establish new visual arts headquarters. Today, Leipzig is undoubtedly the capital of German contemporary art.
