Detail of the stay : Quick route north of Tehran - 6 days
Day 1: Exploration of Tehran
Steps: Téhéran
The capital of Iran has some admirable museums such as the National Museum of Archaeology or the Museum of Glass and Ceramics. Don't miss the splendid palace of the Golestan either. Spend the evening strolling along the immense Valias'r Avenue, the busiest avenue in the city, to discover the modern face of Tehran
Day 2: From the covered bazaar to the mountains
Steps: Mont Damavand
It is certainly one of the largest in the country, but also, unfortunately, one of the most disappointing in terms of what is found there. Nevertheless, it is impossible to leave Tehran without having spent one or two hours mingled with the colourful crowd that walks the paths covered by this imposing ensemble. After lunch, take the Mount Damavand road for a walk on the slopes of the highest point in Iran.
Day 3: Reyneh
Steps: Bandar-E Anzali
Take the time to visit this typical little village where, while strolling through the narrow streets, you can enjoy superb views of the mountainous landscapes and surrounding valleys. In the afternoon, drive to Bandar-e-Anzali, along the southern bank of the Caspian Sea.
Day 4: Capital of Caviar
Steps: Massouleh
Here you are in the Iranian capital of caviar. After a tour in the lagoon in the morning, for bird watching, visit the very rich fish market and some caviar farms, very numerous around the city. Take the time of a little swim and then return to Massuleh, a typical village less than 100 km southwest of Bandar-e-Anzali.
Day 5: A village in the mountains
Steps: Qazvin
Take the time to visit this peaks village in the morning. In the afternoon, go to Bandar-e-Anzali and take the road to Qazvin.
Day 6: The fortress of the murderers
After a quick visit to Qazvin, reach the citadel of Alamut, whose murderous soldiers long terrorized the Seljuq regime. The remains, although rare, are interesting but are above all a pretext for a very beautiful hike that will offer you magnificent views once you have climbed the rocky spur on which the citadel stood. Return to Tehran in the evening
