Day 1: Pamplona
Steps: Pampelune - Pamplona - Iruña
If you visit the country at the beginning of July, don't miss the San Fermín, an emblematic festivity in Pamplona. On this occasion, taking part in the Navarrese way of life becomes an unforgettable experience that requires a good day of rest. Pamplona also has a number of parks and gardens, medieval walls and churches.
Day 2: The Olite Palace and the Bardenas Reales
Steps: Tudela
You will visit an incredible palace that was the residence of the kings of Navarra, before venturing into the desert immensity of the Bardenas, whose lunar landscapes can be discovered by 4x4, mountain bike or on foot. Landscapes that we thought were only possible far from our old Europe. Sleep in the beautiful city of Tudela.
Day 3: Wine route
The Wine Route, known as the "Royal Route", crosses a region dotted with fortifications, castles, towers and palaces, hence its name. This route will take you from Eastern Navarra to Western Navarra and will leave you on the way to the Basque province of Guipuzcoa.
Day 4: Greenways of the Bidasoa
Steps: Doneztebe - Santesteban
A day of cycling, hiking or, why not, horseback riding. This trail is part of the dense Spanish network of railways rehabilitated as greenways. This one will make you discover the Spanish Pyrenees-Atlantic, with its rivers and forests of beech and oak trees in the natural park of the Señorío de Bertiz.
PARQUE NATURAL SEÑORIO DE BERTIZ
Day 5: Navarrese stages of the Way of Saint James
Steps: Yesa, Sangüesa Zangoza, Puente La Reina - Gares, Estella-Lizarra, Lumbier
A great classic, always very enriching, especially since it is in Navarra, in the wonderful city of Puente la Reina, that two pilgrimage routes meet, the French and Aragonese paths, punctuated by delightful stages: Yesa and the monastery of Leyre, the pits of Lumbier, Sangüesa, Estella..
