Day 1: Arrival without time difference via Johannesburg

Late afternoon flight to Johannesburg, South Africa. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 2: Overflight of the Okavango Delta by taxi

Arrival and transfer from Johannesburg to Maun by taxi to the Okavango Delta (about 40 minutes flight). First magical moment, the delta seen from the sky.... Transfer and installation in a luxury camp. Lunch. In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to take the first safari of the stay in the meanders of the delta, in a mokoro for 2 people or in a boat (depending on the water level) for 6 people with an English-speaking ranger-guide. Return to Xigera camp and starry night

Day 4: The islands with birds

The Okavango Delta is nicknamed "the only river that never finds the sea", but this does not prevent it from having dozens of islands particularly suitable for bird watching. No less than 400 species frequent the area. The osprey, the golden eagle, the royal crane or the sacred ibis, so many rare and protected varieties enjoy a particularly varied ecosystem: savannah, swamps, forests, meadows... But what would a safari be without being able to observe elephants, buffaloes, wildebeests, hippopotamuses, lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, white and black rhinoceroses? At this point in the delta, many people are present, if only to quench their thirst

Day 5: Morning Botswana, afternoon Zambia

Steps: Livingstone, Kasane - Kazungula

After the morning safari in the delta to finish the Big Five, departure by taxi to Kasane (about 1h30 flight). Upon arrival, boarding for a safari cruise on the Chobe River to witness the rare spectacle of wildlife that came to drink. Lunch served on board. Afternoon, two hours drive to Livingstone, Zambia. Day 6: Victoria Falls on the Zambia side

In the morning, visit Victoria Falls with an English-speaking guide. The Falls form the world's largest water curtain, falling from more than 100 m in height into the Zambezi Gorge, it is twice as high as Niagara Falls. Day 7: Safari in Kafue Park

Steps: Kafue National Park

In the morning, transfer to the airport and departure by taxi to the Kafue park. Welcome and transfer to Busanga camp, lunch. In the afternoon, it is safari in the reserve in 4x4 with an experienced ranger guide. Meal and night in one of the two small intimate camps located in the heart of the plains.

Day 8: In the plains of Busanga

Departure at dawn for a new safari in 4x4, by boat or on foot, depending on your wishes. After a good break at the Lodge and before nightfall, the second safari of the day in the light of headlights and 4x4 headlights. It is often at sunset that animals go out the most. From safari to safari, it is impossible to see the same animals as the park is so huge. Proclaimed a national park in 1950, it covers 22,500 km². Its exploitation for tourism purposes is very recent, the animals are all the more wild because they are not used to being observed

Day 9: Overview of Kafue Park by balloon

Steps: Kafue National Park

Depending on the season, you can fly over the plains of Busanga in a balloon. Kafue Park is one of the largest parks in Africa, the Busanga plains cover 750 km² and offer landscapes of dense and wild forests dotted with dambos (open areas sometimes flooded). A few meters above the ground, you can admire animals whose names are not necessarily evocative: the poukou, hippotragues (coming out of antelopes) or tropis and large troops of lions, always ready to eat..

Day 10: Last Round in the Park

Steps: Lusaka

At the end of the morning, transfer and departure by plane taxi to Lusaka. Flight to Johannesburg and correspondence for Paris. Dinner and night on board.

Day 11: Return flight without jet-lag

Arrival in Paris in the middle of the morning.
