A European route, the Danube Bikeway, which has the Euro Bike 6 code, runs entirely down the Danube and is part of the Atlantic/Black Sea Transversal. It crosses Serbia for 1,040 km (asphalt and paved road, medium difficulty), with 668 km of main trails, 370 km of alternative trails and detours

Day 1: Sombor (Upper Danube) - Apatin (25 km)
We leave Sombor discovering its historical center and municipal museum, then we cross the bridge over the Danube-Tisza-Danube canal, we pass through romantic woods, we take breaks in " čarda" (local fish taverns), for swimming, fishing or a sport activity, we arrive in Apatin, a pretty village on the Danube. Day 2: Bač Fortress - Bačko Novo Selo (44 km)
Steps: Bač
Starting from the historical center of Bač, we discover the Catholic monastery (12th c.) and the Bač fortress (14th c.), then the village of Vajska with its nearby lake and oak woods, and then the village of Bođani and its Orthodox monastery (17th c.) producing honey. Continuing along the Danube one arrives in the village of Plavna and then to Bačko Novo Selo where one can revive oneself in one of the restaurants on the Danube (Čarda). Day 3: Ram - Srebrno jezero - Golubac Fortress (42 km)
Steps: Donji Milanovac, Ram, Veliko Gradište, Golubac
The Ottoman fortress of Ram (15th century) offers beautiful views of the Danube, as does the village of Zatonje, which also offers a view of Lake Srebrno, which you can reach via the village of Ostrovo. On the lake, you can take a boat ride or take a nap on the sandy beach. Camping is possible in the vicinity. In Veliko Gradište you can visit a church from the 19th century. We cross the bridge over the river Pek, the villages of Požeženo and Vinči and arrive in Golubac to admire its medieval fortress. This is where the Djerdap National Park begins.
