Greek trains stop at Idomeni/Ειδομένη: you have to take a cab at the Greek customs post of Evzoni installed at the highway E-75, 6 km east of the Idomeni train station.

The facilities are rudimentary: ticket office, toilets and cafe. The station was established in 1873 by the French Oriental Railway Company, which operated the line between Thessaloniki (Greece) and Mitrovica (Kosovo) on behalf of the Ottoman Empire. Rebuilt several times, it was renovated in 2016.
